so you try your hardest to pull them back to you, until one day you realize that you could try for the rest of your life and it wouldn’t make any difference, because in the end, people always leave, no matter how badly you want or need them to stay. the sad thing is i always forget that and i allow myself to think that maybe this time it’ll be different, maybe they’ll stay, but no one does.
